PM Modi calls for Janatha Curfew

Narendra Modi has announced Janata Curfew on Sunday i.e 22nd March in the wake of COVID 19 outbreak. It will be effective from 7 in the morning till 9 in the evening. PM Modi warned the people against hoarding and panic buying.

Modi confirmed that Government is taking all necessary steps to supply of milky, food and other essential things. so do not panic, be sensitive towards the need of others. PM also asked businesses and individual not to cut salary of their employees.

Modi also announced that the government has decided to constitute a ‘Covid-19 Economic Response Task Force’.

PM Modi also asked the people to thank doctors, medical officials and cleaning staff for their service on Sunday at 5 pm. He requested all people to step out of house in the coming few weeks only if necessary, and work from home as much as possible. He also urged senior citizens to stay at home in the coming days. He asked the people to act with determination and patience. He requested the people to avoid crowded places and going out.

Modi also asked the people to express their appreciation for the work being done by those in hospitals, airports and the transport sector by clapping for five minutes at 5pm on Sunday.
