On the occasion of his birthday, director Teja made announcement regarding his upcoming two projects- Alimelumanga Venkataramana and Rakshasa Rajyamlo Ravanasurudu. Gopichand will be seen playing the lead role in Alimelumanga Venkataramana whereas Tollywood hot chunk Rana Daggubati in Rakshasa Rajyamlo Ravanasurudu (RRR). According to the latest buzz, Teja’s directorial venture starring Rana Daggubati will have political touch once again.
In past, Teja and Rana have worked together for Nene Raju Nene Mantri which was all about the rise of a common man to a politician and how he behaves after getting into power. This time Teja has decided to have picked up a similar point for Rana Daggubati’ RRR – Rakshasa Rajyamlo Ravanasurudu where a leader gets sucked into the corrupt political system.
On the other side, Gopichand and Teja’ film Alimelumanga Venkataramana is a family drama in the lines of Family Circus.
Meanwhile, Rana Daggubati is currently busy in the shoot of upcoming action and romantic drama Virata Parvam, in which Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead. The movie Virata Parvam is being directed by Venu Udugula and produced by Suresh Productions and Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas. Apart from Virata Parvam, Baahubali star Rana Daggubati is also the part of trilingual film Haathi Mere Saathi which is directed by Prabhu Solomon.
