It was heard that the upcoming untitled film will be set against the backdrop of the Hyderabad Race Club, Malakpet. Veteran producer D Suresh Babu is bankrolling this exciting project of Venkatesh. However, until recently, it was heard that the upcoming movie of Tharun Bhascker and Venkatesh was shelved as Suresh Babu was not too convinced with the script. But recently during an interview, Tharun Bhascker gives a clear picture of Venkatesh Daggubati starrer.
Tharun Bhascker said that he had completed the story and Suresh Babu was also impressed with it. Tharun added that he would complete the screenplay very soon and the movie would go on the floors in summer.
The untitled film of Venky Mama star charts the story of a jockey-turned-swashbuckling horse-racing gambler.
On the other side, Venkatesh was last seen in a romantic family entertainer Venky Mama starring Naga Chaitanya, Payal Rajput, and Raashi Khanna, which was super hit at the box office. Currently, he is busy in the shoot of revenge drama Naarappa, the remake of Tamil film Asuran in which Dhanush essayed the lead role. Naarappa is being directed by Srikanth Addala and it has Priyamani in the female lead role.
