Tharun Bhascker is known for directing the critically acclaimed Telugu language romantic comedy film Pelli Choopulu starring the young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda in 2016, which won him the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu and the Best Screenplay – Dialogues. Top directors like Sukumar, SS Rajamouli and many famous personalities appreciated Tharun’ work on movie Pelli Choopulu. In his film career, he has helmed only two movies- Pelli Choopulu and Ee Nagariniki Eamaindhi. Now according to the latest update, Tharun Bhascker has become a TV host.
Tharun Bhascker has now turned Television host for a popular channel. He will interview celebrities like Bollywood film maker Karan Johar did in Bollywood. The program is titled ‘Neeku Maathrame Cheptha’ and it is going to be aired every Saturday from 14th March.
Tharun Bhasckar also made his debut as lead actor with the movie Meeku Maathrame Cheptha in 2019, which was directed by Shammeer Sultan, produced by Vardhan Deverakonda and Vijay Deverakonda under their banner King of the Hill Entertainment. Unfortunately the movie Meeku Maathrame Cheptha was ended up commercially flop at the box office.
On the work front, Tharun Bhasckar has teamed up with Venkatesh Daggubati for an upcoming film, which is expected to go on the floor very soon.
