A 15 years old man, who returned from London on 19th March, tested +ve for coronavirus. The infected people is placed in quarantine and is being given necessary treatment. The Officials have started to trace the people who came in contact with him ever since he landed in India. Andhra Pradesh is still in stage 2 of outbreak. The total number of corona +ive cases is 8 in Andhra Pradesh so far.
It said 15,000 people who returned to the state from various countries were under surveillance. And the people are still fears that the state may face danger because of arrival of 15,000 foreign returnees.
Meanwhile, the state Director General of Police DG Sawang said the cases were registered against 338 people under for violating the orders on total lockdown.
Heavy lockdown is being enforced. The cops are using force and also beating up violators of lockdowns. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered health officials to re-conduct the door to door survey across the AP state and complete it by this Thursday.
Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered if anyone is found with symptoms of Covid-19, immediate treatment has to be provided. Jagan Mohan Reddy also urged the people to stay indoors and cooperate with the health officials by taking part in the survey.
