Kannada star, Yash starrer action drama KGF: Chapter 1 was one of the blockbuster movies of Indian Film Industry. Yash starrer, which was helmed by Prashanth Neel, went on to become one of the biggest hits. Not only in Kannada, but the Hindi and Telugu version of KGF also did well at the box office. Noted producer Sai Korrapati released Yash starrer in Telugu. With the theatres closed, TV channels and OTT platforms are enjoying a huge viewership.
After one and half years since KGF: Chapter 1, release, its first-ever TV premiere happened on Star MAA on 5th July. Now according to the latest update, KGF has registered a TRP rating of 11.9 which is a good figure for a dubbing movie. Meanwhile KGF failed to crush the TRP record of Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru, in which Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead in the direction of Anil Ravipudi.
The telecast of Mahesh Babu’ Sarileru Neekevvaru set a new TV record, garnering unprecedented viewership ratings by any Telugu film in the past. The world television premiere of the film Sarileru Neekevvaru telecasted on the occasion of Ugadi on Gemini TV and the movie garnered a massive 23.4 TRP.
