It is known that lady superstar Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan have been seeing each other for quite some time now. She fell in love with Vignesh while working for the 2015 Tamil film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan under his direction.
Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that the love birds will tie the knot in the month of December. NBow it is being heard that Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan have got engaged.
In March 2021, the film maker Vignesh Shivan shared a photograph of Nayanthara leaning over him with a ring on her finger and came up with an interesting caption, ‘Viralodu uyir kooda korthu’. On the otherside, Nayanthara has confirmed her engagement with long-time boyfriend and director Vignesh Shivan on a television talk show. In promo, Nayanthara is seen confirming to the TV talk show host Dhivayadarshini that the ring she is wearing is an engagement ring. The entire show will be aired on 15th August at 10.30 am, on the occasion of Independence Day.
Meanwhile, Vignesh Shivan is currently working for his upcoming directorial venture Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which has Nayan and Samantha Akkineni in the female lead. The movie will also star Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. It is a triangular romantic movie.
