Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to re-evaluate the proposals and disagreements on the formation of new districts which is going to be implemented. some of the political parties and employees’ unions have stated and submitted two thousand proposals and disagreements earlier.Anantapur district has received over 700 proposals and disagreements, and it is the highest number when compared to the other districts.

While in Srikakulam, only below 20 were filed. The government is conducting review meetings with the collectors of thirteen districts started from February 23 to 28 in Anantapur, Tirupati, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. On February 23, the conference was taken place in Vijayawada with  Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and West Godavari districts’ collectors. On 24th, the govt is going to meet the collectors of Chittoor, Nellore and Kadapa in Tirupati.

On 26th of this month, Anantapur and Kurnool collectors will get together with Jagan in Anantapur. And finally on 28th February, Jagan will hold talks in Visakhapatnam with the collectors of East Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram. About 350 requests were submitted for the formation of Hindupur district, 330 memorandums were arrived for the formation of Dharmavaram as a revenue division and requisitions were filed for Penugonda as the new district head quarters.

However, after the re-assessment, the final notification for the new districts will be issued on March 10, and the government will commence its groundwork on the formation of new districts from April 2nd. But division of employees and zones will be done only after getting authorization from the president, said Vijay Kumar, the secretary of AP planning department ex-officio.
