Bangarraju, the sequel of Soggade Chinni Nayana, marked the second collaboration between King Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya. The fantasy drama Bangarraju is currently running successfully at the box office. Now according to the latest report, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya starrer film Bangarraju is heading to ZEE5 after having a successful theatrical run. The film Bangarraju, helmed by Kalyan Krishna will release on the OTT platform on 18th February.
The movie was arrived at the theaters on the occasion of Sankranti and received mixed response by the movie lovers and critics on its opening day but the collections of this film is decent. The movie also starred Ramya Krishnan and Krithi Shetty in pivotal roles.
The movie Bangarraju is bankrolled by Annapurna Studios and Zee Studios.
Bangarraju is revenge drama accentuated by supernatural elements. Senior Bangarraju and his wife Satyabhama (Ramya Krishna), with the consent of Lord Yama, move between heaven and earth to help their grandson who is lonely and lost in a large joint family.
The movie also has Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji and Jhansi in the supporting roles.
On the otherside, Nagarjuna is currently working for The Ghost whereas Naga Chaitanya is waiting for the release of Vikram K Kumar’ magnum opus Thank You.
