Winning the controversial reality show Bigg Boss, one would imagine, translates to big-ticket success. It need not be the case all the time. Unending discourse on the social media, high TRP, bets over who will snatch the title, all these prove that the Bigg Boss is the most-loved reality show on Indian television. But unfortunately, the post-show journey of the winners is not half as spectacular as their journey inside the house. But only a few became busy after coming out of the house of Bigg Boss. The title winners don’t get huge offers as everyone expects.
Bigg Boss has had a new season every year. Every season introduces more the contestants to the viewers. Once a season comes to an end, the buzz around the contestants continues for a few days. As soon as preparations for the next season start taking shape, focus shifts. Winning the title of Bigg Boss alone can’t guarantee popularity with lifetime validity. It makes them known and they get remembered ritually when Bigg Boss is in news.
Shiva Balaji did not get any huge movie roles and Kaushal Manda is only active on social media. The career of Rahul Sipligunj is the same before and after Bigg Boss. He is busy with his songs. Abhijeet Duddala the winner of 4th season did not get any offers.
But now the reports are coming that VJ Sunny, the winner of fifth season, is getting good offers from small and medium producers. It is also being heard that he has signed a movie ‘Sakala Gunaabhirama’ in which he will be seen playing the lead role.
