Tamil actress Padmaja, who is a die hard fan of Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu was found hanging at her apartment in Thiruvottiyur, in Chennai. She committed suicide on Sunday. According to reports, Padmaja, 23, was under depression due to financial issues.
Padmaja was found dead at her house in Chennai’s Thiruvottiyur on Sunday. She is survived by her husband Pawan (25) and their 2-year old son. The sources revealed that the family wasn’t living together since the last one month after the couple separated over a serious marital dispute. While her husband had moved to Andhra, their son was being taken care of by one of her relatives in Chennai.
Actress Padmaja was staying alone at a rented apartment and the police reportedly broke the lock of the house and discovered her body, two days after the landlord of the house, S Kasinathan, suspected something fishy and informed the police. The cop immediately took her body to the Government Stanley Hospital for a post-mortem. Thiruvottiyur Police Station is investigating the case. Before killing herself, she made a video call to her sister and expressed her worries over financial issues.
