The film actress Kriti Garg has lodged a complaint with Panjagutta police station and claimed that a person had tried to con her by offering a role in a movie by claiming himself as a director. The case has been registered and transferred to cybercrime police station.
The police said that they received the complaint from movie director Subba Rao that Kriti Garg, who is working in one of his upcoming films, had received a phone call and an email. The caller introduced himself as Sandeep Reddy Vanga, director of ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘ Kabir Singh’ and offered her a lead role in his upcoming film in which Young Rebel star Prabhas is going to play the lead role.
Kriti Garg said that she was duped by unknown caller calling himself a filmmaker in the name of Prabhas starrer unofficial project. She was asked to travel to Mumbai to audition for a role in a movie of Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prabhas. She went to Mumbai, and later realized that the call was a hoax. A case of impersonation has been filed.
Kriti Garg was seen in recently released movie Raahu, directed by Subbu Vedula and produced by AVR Swamy, Raja Deverakonda, Sri Shakthi Babji, Subbu Vedula Under Sri Shakthy Swaroop Movie Creations Banner.
