 The movie  Pushpa: The Rise also has Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil  who played the role of antagonist. This big budget rural drama which also has anchor turned actress Anansuya Bharadwaj and Sunil in the important roles, is directed by Sukumar of Rangasthalam fame. Now the movie lovers are waiting for its second part Pushpa: The Rule.
